There's a distracting rushing in her ears, the sound of coolant being pumped too rapidly through her systems as 9S touches her on his own, of his own choice, because he wants to.

This has never felt like this. His fingers are warm and soft and her body is so yielding, so ready for him, and yet it feels like so much more. A deeper connection, something unbreakable and unmatchable, and if it weren't for his sudden spike of attitude she might be close to tears with the weight of what this means to her.

Her breathing is uneven and comes out in quick little bursts against his lips as she hovers over him, eyes half closed as she gazes down at him and tries to keep herself still while he explores, and finally what he's said makes it way past her overworked systems and registers.

And she smiles, soft and teasing against his mouth as she steals another kiss.

"If you want to stop and perform maintenance now..."

At the end of the day they've got a connection that's irreplaceable, one that can't be replicated no matter how hard one may try. Despite the number of times 9S has been terminated by her hands he's always found himself back at her side, feeling too much and willing to risk everything just for her. 2B brings out the best and worst in him, the obsessive fixation and the delightful tenderness he feels around her. He'd be lying to himself if he said he didn't want to do this and as much as his own programming is urging him to follow through, to put a stop to what's happening and fulfill what he's supposed to do he ignores it.

Her kiss is far too distracting, her smile too potent to him. He can't help being swayed by it and honestly? What's a bit more time when it's been put off this long anyway?
