I don't know. It's not called a funny bone that I know of, but considering the humerus bone joins at the elbow, it might be a reference to that. Humerus, humourous. Funny.

Word play comes up fairly often in my experience. For better and worse. Its particularly bad around here.

I mean, I do enjoy the odd pun myself here and there...

Then it's something you're already familiar with. Figuring out what someone means can depend on context, but you get a sense for it as you keep having to deal with people.

Right. Humans are kind of hard though I'm finding. No offense but you guys are pretty weird...and sort of contradict yourselves a lot.

We do, and we are. For what it's worth, I suspect Halflings, Vampires, Tieflings, Elves, Dwarves, Qunari, and Trolls may also be pretty weird and contradictory. I'd be more surprised if that wasn't a people being people consequence.

On other worlds, yes. Not on mine, we just have humans and Titans as far as I know, but talking with people here from various worlds, they exist.

Titans?

Monsters with vaguely human shapes. They're two to sixty metres tall, active during daylight, surprisingly fast, strong, and capable of regenerating from most every injury. They eat people.

Okay that sounds pretty terrifying, not gonna lie. They sound a bit like giants from folklore, or what little I've read from fragments of tales that survived.

Earth has them as both Titans out of Mythology, a Greek Mythology I've been told, and as giants in a more general sense. Giants notably appeared intelligent, or capable of speech and reason to some extent. Even Titans in mythology for these Greeks appear capable of that much.

Titans on my world aren't like either of those things. But they are terrifying, yes. Difficult to stop, too.

How do you privatise communications over this device? Presumably not from LIEs, I imagine they have controls for access, but from other offworlders?

Oh, that's easy. There are settings already built into the device that you can select before sending a message to encrypt it. If you want extra security I can always fiddle with it for you.
