He's in the same boat, of course, in that if anyone hurt 2B, human or otherwise, he'd want to get revenge. If they were human it'd be trickier - he can't deliberately harm one himself...but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be above enlisting the help of someone who could on his behalf.

[It's in things like this that 2B knows she misses the mark when it comes to the emotional attachments she knows 9S wants. From him asking her to call him Nines to... well, everything, really, she holds herself back out of an ingrained fear of when she'll have to kill him.

She knows it will take work to find herself being the person 9S wants, knows that she's already failed more than once. She's tried to make it better but maybe it's time to try harder. Maybe there is something she can do to take away his doubts.

When his hand rubs her back she tenses slightly, but only because this gesture is unfamiliar. Her back is exposed thanks to the window cutout of her dress and his gloves are soft against her skin, and after a moment she sighs and relaxes against him again.]

Oh, that's easy. There are settings already built into the device that you can select before sending a message to encrypt it. If you want extra security I can always fiddle with it for you.
